NOT:  On COR0250, enclosure 4, chart B, Jeannette Merritt wrote:  "Philip Rowe, born 1705, will made out 5 July 1757, proved 18 April 1777, inventory 25 January 1762.  Of the Parish of Camborne, left farm implements and animals."


Elizabeth Pearce

!MAR:  COR0250, enclosure 4, chart B.  COR0878:  Marriage entry states that she was "of Phillack."

NOT:  Will of father Andrew Pearce, yeoman, made out 31 July 1759, administration 8 August 1760, of the parish of Kea, left half of Gwealangrouse in Carhellan (Kehelland) in Camborne to "my daughter Elizabeth, the wife of Philip Rowe."  She was also one of the executors of the will.
Will of husband Philip Rowe made out 5 July 1757, inventory dated 25 January 1762, proved 18 April 1777, left estate and household goods (unless she re-marries) for her lifetime . . . "if George and Philip do outlive her Elizabeth my wife is not to sell any things that belongs to same son . . . without the consent of Philip and William . . .but if she should marry again it shall be otherwise.  Elizabeth my wife shall have . . . a horse and a cow and half a dozen ewes and the bed and bedding that she now lies on."

NOT:  COR0878.  Will of grandfather Andrew Pearce left two shillings and six pence.  Will of father Philip Rowe - "my eldest daughter Mary" - left five shillings.  Jeannette Merritt wrote:  "I am assuming these two will references refer to this Mary, but as I have not found the burial of her sister Mary Rowe 11239, I cannot be sure."
